Jim and Cheryl will explore various opinions as to what makes a song “Traditional”; a word that means different things to different folks. They will sing a few variants, tracing a ballad as it changes over time and shifts in geographic location.  They will also sing and play a few of their favorite Irish songs and talk about them, inviting an informal discussion to erupt.
